Thank You & Goodnight.

Months ago, the sale of WTVJ NBC 6 to Post-Newsweek was terminated. Since then, no potential buyer has stepped up in its place.

Next week, NBC will rollout NBCMIAMI.COM, as well as a new graphic package for WTVJ. With the shaky economy, it looks like GE has not found a buyer to unload the station on, however WTVJ is still up for sale. The future of WTVJ is uncertain, but there is one eventuality: it will not be dissolved and sold to Post-Newsweek.

Our mission is finished. We have done our job.

Thank you to my fellow Coalition members who kept hope alive even when it seemed like there was none to hold onto.

Thank you to all the Representatives & Senators who voiced their displeasure about the sale.

Thank you to the three men who championed our cause: JB Harris, William McCormick, and Arthur Hertz.

Thank you to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz who went toe-to-toe with the heads from NBC/GE and Post-Newsweek.

And a very special thanks to the thousands of letters of support from the viewers who cared enough to write the FCC and voice their displeasure about the sale.
